Hi Morpheus!
Yeah i know but dont know how to change the title:o
It seems, that the Admin did it! ;)
The males matured quite early tho:rolleyes: Yes, thatīs right; but itīs no problem, because they live longer than the females.
I have an adult male since a few days, but the females need about 3 moults.

I'll have some pictures of my male soon!
Brill photos! I haven't kept these before myself, but looks to me like it could be larger than L3?

Thanks Ian! She's 6cm long so perhaps she is larger. The tank is big enough that she can hide away and not be seen for days, so I've never actually seen her moult ^ ^

Nice photos Longy :)
Well at 6cm Michael I'd say she was much larger than L3. I'm not sure what length these guys grow to though, so wouldn't be able to hazard a guess at the stage.

Hi Ian
They grow to 13cm in length, around the same size as Eurycantha calcarata.
Sorry by the way! I didn't realise there was already a thread for this species! ;o

Could be L3/4... But it's a female for sure.
yer, the ovipositer is VERY visable so u can deffinatly tell its female.
i think its L4, i brought it and it looked L3, so i was trying to make sure, thank you.

I received a Pair of these today and was wondering,
What size are they normally at SubAdult stage?
Cos' the one i received is 11cm and thats the size of my last adult female this ones definitely SubAdult tho cause the ovipositer is very big yet.

I also had 11 cm long females, but they had hatched out of parthenogenetic eggs. Parthenogenesis causes smaller females and a loss of colour. Could you upload a pic, please?

Hi,
Its not adult yet, as i said before so theres no need for a pic.
I know she's subadult because my last female only died a couple of months ago and i can still remember what the Subadult's look like.
Im asking what the normal size of a Subadult female is? Cos' this Subadult is 11cm and my last female only reached 11 and a half at adult.
