I've just received some P. schultei - is it best to keep them in an airy cage with minimal spraying? I also have some eggs from this species - do these need any special attention and how long do they take to hatch?

I can only speak for myself, and I am new to keeping Shultei, but I keep mine in a plastic fishtank with lid (obviously). There is kitchen paper on the bottom with leaf litter, & two pots of privet. When they were tiny I put netting over the top of the lid.
When they grow bigger I'll get my husband to build a larger wooden framed house & cover it with netting for them.
I lightly spray the privet (not the insects) with tepid water every other day.
I don't know much about the ova, but I believe they could take 9 months to hatch ??
Someone more knowledgeable will hopefully put me right if this is incorrect :)
Hope it helps.

My Schulti eggs started hatching after a couple of months.

By the way - since I laid some dried leaves on the bottom of the tank I never ever see my Shultei. They love to hide in the curls of the leaves all day, so I don't know whether it's a good thing or bad.
