I was going to get some Anthia sexguttata beetles, but found out that they can spray acid in the face :o so i have already set up a tank with sandy / gravel substrate, and lots of driftwood and other wood, so what else could i get for the tank that cant sting, spray, or bite?? :)

idealy i would love to get some Manticora beetles for the tank, thats what i wanted originally, but not sure whetehr ill ever find any for sale. only seen them once :(

any suggestons would be great :D

What about the native Myrmecoleon species or arid scorpions?

thats a good one thanks Daniel :)
i do like the look of Ant lions very much, only offered in a few places though, i think in the UK they can only be found in one particular place :/

i would love some assassin bugs, but they spit an even more powerful stuff than the anthia beetles, its just that i like to handle insects, and also take them to college for biology etc, so that wouldnt be possible

i think i might wait out for Manticora beetles, but i will look around for anything else, thanks for the help!

I bet a camel spider would look good in there, I'm not too sure if you can handle them though

They can bite and they do. Although they aren't poisonous, they can cause big wounds and are very aggressive. Wouldn't recommend them...

lol, tbh camel spiders, in my opinion, are the ugliest creatures i have ever seen (after chimps) so i dont think i would get them anyway, but they would look good i must say :)
and they are pretty amazing no matter what i think they look like!
haha

earlier in the year i had about 14 green tiger beetles, which would have been perfect, but i didnt have a great tank then and they all died off from natural causes anyway, they only live till about July in the wild, its a shame coz i could have bred them :(
