I have noticed sometimes when i approach the cage some of my E.T look like they are vibrating or straining for some reason, it's almost awkward to watch, one of them just had a great moult and they both eat well, and look fine other than this.

Is it normal?
What could it be?

This is a normal reaction. It's their way of pretending to be sticks blowing in the wind. Wobbling from side to side is supposed to give the illusion of them moving around in a strong breeze.

Is this something like what you have experienced:-

Agreed, this is perfectly normal behaviour. They will also start vibrating/swaying with a draft as well.

Quite entertaining really.

My insects will sway when there's a breeze and also from the vibrations when I play my music. It's quite amusing watching them bob away to the sounds of Hendrix or Beethoven. Mind you, I try not to disturb them so that doesn't happen too often, I don't even turn my light on at night just to keep them happy.
