Advice about my Old Mantis Please

Hi,

I am new to the forum and wondered if I could get some advice. I have a female Giant Asian Mantis. She is a year old this month and hasn't eaten anything for a week. I have been hand feeding her water which she drinks a little of. She looks quite limp hanging on her leaves and I wondered If I should gently put her at the bottom in case she slips. Anyone have any advice on what to do when they get like this. Should I attempt to hand feed her food??

i have read that they dont live much longer than a year..... maybe she is coming to the end of her time and if this is the case there is not much you can do to help her...... mabe with a bit of luck she gonna produce a egg case..... gl and hope she's ok
