Found these 3 last night in central qld. The 2 skinny green ones are males and the other is a girl. They look similar to T. childreni but i dont think its that species.

I would also say they are Tropidoderus childrenii, if they aint then its definitely a Tropidoderus species if theres more than one, very nice find btw :)

ok well its now looking like they are 2 separate species. The 2 thin ones i found were both male so i assumed they were males to go with that female but i just found another 3 of the thin green ones which are definatly female

The brown one is a subadult female. I think she's a Podacanthus species, maybe P. wilkinsoni. The first pic shows a male and a female nymph, could be a Tropidoderus or a Podacanthus. The female looks like L6 (because of the length of her wings), the male (I can just compare the length) like L5. So they will both need two moults to adulthood.

actually the female just moulted to maturity so will get pics up in a tic. I dont think they are podacanthus, found one the other day and there are too many differences so i dont believe they are in that genus, closest from what i can tell is mayb Tropidoderus.

and by the way the female nymph in the first pic i'm pretty sure its a A. tessulata, its only in the pic because it got in the way when getting shots of the green one.

Do you mean the green one in the middle or the brown one?

Oh yes, that could be possible. I associated it with the others and it looked similar in colour to Tropidoderus childreni.
