So who else has got an iPhone then?

Really - it's probably the nicest "thing" I think I've held in a long while. (I'm expecting a comment to be posted here).

I dunno if anyone has used one in the shop, or if they have their own or anything, but it's just so - perfect. The touch screen is extremely accurate, and you barely need to touch the screen. The functions of the phone have no end - and the fact you can install apps make the whole thing a lorra fun.

It's so beautifully made. Dear lord - I was even drooling over how nice the packaging was when I was opening the box - I don't know how Apple do it!

For anyone wanting an iPhone, really, don't hesistate. They are THE sex :)

Of course I would take one if offered, and I am currently looking for a new phone - I'm just not sure the price tag agrees with me.

I love the Ipod, I've had two so far and I'd readily replace my current one should it decide to die any time soon (heaven forbid!) but I'm not sure I could afford the kind of contract that most Iphones are tied to.

Also, I heard that the camera is pretty naff for the price tag and there is no video record function... having a decent camera and video record functionality are two things I really want in a phone, so I'm not sure the Iphone, in its current incarnation, is right for me :o

Only time I used an iPhone is when the Apple store in Meadowhall had them on display with the sim cards in. lost count of the number of calls I made that day.

I also made a note of the number by calling my mobile and when I got home I called the iPhone I had been using and asked those that answered what they were doing with my iPhone and I was going to report them to the police for nicking it.

If I were to invest in a new phone it would have to be the N96. I came oh so close to getting the n95, it was the battery life that put me off.

LOL, I need to try that one Taz!

I originally had an N95, and I just totally buggered it. I bashed it around like it was some kind of dying animal, not intentionally, but really I needed a new phone.

Luna - I agree, the price tag isn't to hot. I got mine on contract, which came to £350. But as I got an iPod touch from freepay (for free), I hope to sell that for around £180 or so, which kinda knocks down the price of my iPhone considerably.

And yea the photo/video thing is very annoying, as I did take a lot myself. I'll just have to depend on my mates video phones when a situation arrises that needs to be recorded :p

:O Dave - get out! I don't think I've ever felt so passionate to an object before.

Gosh, I need to stop before I turn into an objectophile. (http://blog.wired.com/tableofmalcontents/2007/05/the_strange_lov.html)

Have you run out of breath for the other object then.

I saw a program about people who had some strange sexual affairs with inanimate objects. One was in love with the Empire State Building and had to get moved by the security guards when she started to kiss and caress the walls. And another one had a thing for a ferris wheel.

Others included:-
cars
Banisters
Railings
and one even tried it on with the small fence around a church alter.

Now I feel even more normal. ;)

they definately win on the style front, the one thing i think lets them down is the camera, thats why i'd allways go sony ericsson, the nokia camera's are great also, but the cybershot's allways seem a little sleeker, I had a 5mp K850i which took amazing photo's till my son put it in a cup of water,

And have you seen the new cybershot out this month with the 8P camera.. WOW!

Same here, even though I get less calls now that I have transfered over to Virgin media instead of Vodafone. I've got an N-Gage at home that never gets used any more, and I currently have a Nokia thingy mi jig (ain't got the foggiest what model as it was our lasses old one. It's small and fits in my pocket and brings a smile to my face whenever anyone rings or texts me).
