I think someone might bump it back down :)
That really confused me. I thought it was a new thread, and I thought Brian was trying to be witty (trying I say). Then I realised it was about 8 years old...

oi! If I had made this thread recently it would most certainly have been witty :p
As it turns out though this thread pre-dates the invention of the internet itself :D
Maybe after a certain timeframe old threads in some of the sections should be locked?

I got really confused when i saw "merry Christmas" as a new thread. I thought every1 had gone crazy! Since I wasn't there at the time merry christmas every1!

best way to stop the revival of threads this old is to take away natonstan 's keyboard.
Wasn't that long back someone replied to a welcome thread that was like 12 months old.
Could do Brian, but to be honest with you, I don't really get that offended by people replying to old threads. Especially as this board is purely informational based (other than the classifieds sections), so it's not exactly like threads can "expire". Well, the christmas one is an exception :p
